Dear family and friends,

This week was literally the weirdest week of my mission. I'll break it
down so you can see all the random and weird events that took place.

Tuesday was just fine. Not much really happened. Actually,
let me
back up to last Saturday really quick. I realized on Monday morning
that I had forgotten to tell you that Patricia got baptized!!! It was
super awesome! I have never had such a great baptism. It was amazing.
I had the honor of baptizing her too. It was great. Her whole family
came and there were a ton of people there. They were all crying
because of the power of the spirit. It was truly incredible. I'll make
sure I send some pictures. She's probably the most prepared person I
have ever taught in my life. She's changed a lot of things in her life
and is a spiritual giant now. It's amazing!

Anyway, the weirdness of this week: Wednesday we went and picked
up some turkeys and delivered them to a few people. When we
got to
one person’s house we had no clue who they were. She opened
the door, and holy marijuana! It was bad! It was pretty intense. We
just dropped it off and got out of there as quickly as we could. One
good thing that came out it is we ran into the Angeles family. We

good thing that came out it is we ran into the Angeles family. We
haven't gone over there in a couple of months because a few
events
occurred and they kicked us out of their house. We gave them
a little bit
of room, but they finally aren't mad at us anymore. The lesson that we
had with them later in the week went great! We talked about charity
with them. I don't think Brother Angeles really appreciated the lesson
because I think he thought I was directing it right at him and
telling him to be nice. That's alright. I don't care what he thinks of
me. The Spirit was there and it was a really powerful lesson.

Thursday was kind of nuts. We had interviews with President Jenkins. I
took my suit to be dry cleaned on Monday and planned on picking it up
on the way to interviews. We almost got to the dry cleaners and
then the car overheated. I tried to cool it down and nothing worked,
so I pulled over. Elder Welch and I were sitting there waiting for a
bit and I really had to go to the bathroom. I looked at him and he
looked at me and simultaneously we said, "I have to go to the
bathroom." We weren't paying much attention to where we were and we
saw there was a shopping center across the street. We were right at a
light, so we crossed on the crosswalk. We got to the store and started
walking to the bathroom and all of a sudden I had this realization,

"We are outside of the mission..." I told Elder Welch
and he was like,
"Oh dang... We totally are..." So we just went as
fast as we could and got
back into the mission. It was kind of a funny experience.
I've never left
the mission on foot before. I'm not very familiar with the
mission because
I've been away from the main piece of it for the past year.
That's why I
had no clue until we got into the store.

We got back to the jeep and waited for a bit until our vehicle
coordinator, Elder Owen showed up. He looked and sure enough,
there was a broken belt in there. He took us to interviews with
president, but the bad thing was, I didn't have a suit at my
interview... Haha! President understood the situation, so that was
good, but still it was kind of crazy. Now we are driving a Ford Fusion
around in Globe! It's fine for the most part, but there are a few
people we visit where we probably should have our jeep because
there's almost no clearance there.

The Ford is fine, but there's one problem. The jeep was
towed, and guess what? I left my running shoes in there, my basketball,
a baptismal record, and ton of music, a members lightning to HDMI
cord, and the San Carlos Elders basketball. It was pretty bad... We
were assured that everything that was in there when it was towed will still
be there, so that's nice.

Friday night I had a couple of really weird dreams. They were super
vivid, I've never had anything like them. In the first one, we were
over at the Haverland’s helping them move. I was backing he car out and
their 7 year old daughter ran out behind the car, I tried to slam the
breaks, but then I accidentally hit the gas. I totally ran her over.
But then when I got out of the car to check on her and see what
happened she hopped out of the back of the car and said I'm okay! She
jumped out and gave me a hug. It was seriously the scariest dream
ever! Especially because the very next day we helped that family move.

The second dream was of me and Elder Welch driving down a canyon. We
were driving and all of a sudden a cop pulled behind us and pulled us over.

When we pulled over we noticed he hadn't only pulled us
over, but also
about five or six other cars. He and another officer were
going from car to
car shining their lights in the windows. When they finally
got to ours we were
randomly in the back seat.
The cop opened the door and got in. He
told us that tonight wasn't going to be a good one for us. Then he climbed
told us that tonight wasn't going to be a good one for us. Then he climbed
into the passenger seat and the other cop got in the driver
seat, and started
driving further down the canyon. I told them that they were
trespassing and
guilty of abducting us, but the cop said, "That's okay.
We aren't with the law.
We aren't really cops." I was freaking out and then all
of a sudden I woke up.
Yah... Weird… I never dream vividly enough to really ever
describe them,
but those two were so crazy and seemed soreal... Anyway...

Saturday we went to the Haverland's to help them move. They just are
moving across town, so that's nice that they're still in our area.
That day was mostly just a big stuff day. We moved all sorts of
dressers, couches, beds, and other furniture. We even moved a
piano! We picked the entire thing up, put it in a trailer, and took it
back out when we got to the new house. We lifted it up their porch stairs,
and finally got it into the front room. Let me tell you... If you've
ever moved one of those really old upright pianos, you know our pain.
It was super heavy and awkward, but we finally got it done!

Saturday night I couldn’t sleep, so I just lay there, wide awake, until 4
in the morning... It was pretty lame. Then Sunday rolled around and it
was nuts! We were running around like crazy all day long. We went to
church like always, then I went to ward council and Elder Welch stayed
in sacrament meeting. I went to the other wards sacrament meeting
while Elder Welch finished up with the other ward, then we went to
young men’s. In young men’s we talked about Buddhism and Mormonism

and compared them because there's a couple of exchange
students who are
Buddhist from Thailand. That was pretty nuts. I've never had such
an interesting young men’s lesson. The reason we did it like that is
because bishop was talking with one of our investigators who is
having a really hard time. Bishop was supposed to teach the lesson,
but it was an emergency. So, it was a lesson on the spot. It was
well... interesting...

Then we found out a TON of stuff and went to check in with one of our
investigators. Basically, it's a ton of super confidential stuff.
Let's just say no matter what, never do drugs or date anyone that does
drugs. It's nothing but badness that happens. All that stuff was the
craziest part of the week. That just reinforces to me over and over again

It's bad.

That was my crazy week… I'm sure I left a thing or two out,
but that's okay. I hope you all have a great week!!! I love and
miss you all!
Love,
Elder Mullins
